Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4th, 1981 in the United States is an American actor. She is most famous for her performance in the film Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting In Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV series Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. She is currently playing Amantha Holden in The Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actor and director of films who also works on television. The actress gained acclaim for her roles on the show drama Rectify and the sci-fi series Timeless. The native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut by playing a role in the soap opera All My Children. In recognition of her performance, she won the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. The next couple of years she played guest characters on a variety of TV programs. Her role as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the Television series Hawthorne has earned her praise. With the aid of her amazing looks and stunning acting abilities, she was able to attract a large following. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played an important role in it as a 20-year-old. Jekyll This Means War as well as Chasing Mavericks are two other films where she was featured. Her role as a character in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. In the TV show Timeless in which she played the character Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer was praised by critics for her part in the sci-fi series Timeless. She was also nominated for a Teen Choice Award.
